• Question: Are your ideas always accpted?

      Well they are accepted as ideas. But usually the first ideas are not the final ones. So you discuss it between the team until you work out the best plan.

      They’re not always taken in to production. I recently had a part nearly get all the way and get cancelled because it wasn’t quite the right time to be doing it. But your ideas always get treated seriously and you get a chance to explain them and convince people they are good ideas.

      I think my ideas are always considered – they might not always be accepted if there is an aspect that there is another way that is more appropriate / better to use. Myself and my colleagues work as part of a team and so a lot of ideas are discussed before going forward with one.

      Engineers work as a team so generally there are lots of ideas and we talk them through, assess them, change them and come to what is accepted by the team as the best way forward.
